John Marcellus Huston (August 5, 1906–August 28, 1987) was an American film director and actor.

He was innate around Nevada, Missouri, the son of the Canadian-born actor Walter Huston. He began his film career as a screenwriter and made films in the main from either proved books or even plays. He acted inside the total of films, by using distinction around Otto Preminger's The Cardinal & inside Roman Polanski's Chinatown.

Huston was married to (Unity) Dorothy Harvey, (Two) Lesley Black, (Tierce) Evelyn Keyes, (4) Enrica Soma, & (V) Celeste Shane. Most a marriage to Soma, world health organization died, ended around divorce. Among his toddlers is the director Danny Huston and actress Anjelica Huston. Additionally to Rothschild, his lovers involved a actress Nora Eddington and Susan Tyrrell and socialite Marietta Peabody Tree.

John Huston has a unique distinction of directing each his father Walter & his girl Anjelica inside Oscar-winning performances (in The Treasure of the Sierra Madre and ''Prizzi's Honor, respectively).

Although diagnosed sustaining emphysema in 1978, Huston continued to smoke cigarettes until the prevent of his life. He died in August 28, 1987 following a severe attack of the lung disease & pneumonia, at the age of 81. He is interred in the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Hollywood, California.
